Domestic Violence Support

Domestic violence doesn’t discriminate. It can happen to anyone, anywhere. If you’re a victim of abuse, remember:
1. It’s not your fault.
2. You are not alone.
3. Help is available.

At The Women & Families Resource Centre, we provide culturally sensitive, confidential support to women facing domestic violence and abuse. Our services are designed to empower survivors, prevent re-victimization, and create safe spaces where women can heal, rebuild their lives, and rediscover their strength.

Youth Services

At The Women & Families Resource Centre, we’re committed to creating a brighter future for young people in Wolverhampton. Through Club A2S (Arise to Shine) and our Youth Mental Resilience Project, we provide safe, inclusive spaces for children and teens aged 5–19 to grow, connect, and build confidence.
From after-school programs and creative workshops to mental health awareness sessions, we empower young people to rise above challenges, develop resilience, and embrace their potential.

Women's Groups & Workshops

Group Therapy
Small, supportive groups (8–12 women) meet weekly to:
• Understand the dynamics of abuse and its effects.
• Build self-esteem and confidence.
• Learn coping strategies and develop safety plans.
• Share experiences in a safe and empowering environment.
